Traffio - 2020 Overview
2020 has been a big year for Traffio and its customers. We continue to grow and improve our features, helping create a more intelligent, versatile and proactive feature to help our customers grow. Of course, COVID-19 meant we had to drastically change our focus when building features and quickly accommodate to the changing work environment that businesses faced.
Kit and Assets feature
If you’re an operations manager in traffic management, you will know that keeping up with your staff’s uniform and kit can be a headache. Knowing who has what equipment can be a stressful job, especially in an industry with such a dynamic and flexible workforce!
The new Kit and Asset feature allows users to organise and categorise kit and asset that suits your operations. Users can also add asset statuses so items can be recognised as faulty, missing or written off providing businesses with an overview of the quality in stock.
Our COVID-19 initiatives Covid-19 shook up the business world and along with it, how traffic management operated. Particularly in Victoria where permits to be working outside of your house were required. Covid-19 also shifted Traffios direction. We had to quickly make adjustments to our upcoming features that helped our customers operate in a COVID-19 world.
COVID-19 Permitted Worker Permit
When metro Victoria went into stage 4 restrictions in August, overnight it was required for workers to have a permitted worker permit whenever working outside of the home.
We are really proud of how we've been able to assist our customers through COVID-19 stage 4 restrictions in metro Victoria. Overnight our developers added permitted to work permits to our bookings, making it easier, contactless and time-effective for our customers to process their permits, getting their team on the road faster. It was a great achievement for our team to be able to support our customers so quickly during such a volatile and stressful time for business owners.
Birthdays & Work Anniversaries
As part of our response to COVID-19, we added a new birthday and anniversary feature to help you remember and celebrate your team member’s personal milestones, but more importantly, stay connected.
To keep everyone safe during COVID-19, Traffio introduced remote sign-off for site contacts, helping customers and their clients continue their work safely and contact-free. This new functionality allows bookings' site contacts to remotely and digitally sign-off work dockets which were not signed-off on-site.
Major Upgraded to our 'Traffio-Mail' We have given our email module a major upgrade, improving its features, security and availability. The upgrade also dramatically enhances the options available to our development team, allowing for additional customisations and features in the future, which would otherwise have not been possible.

Fatigue Management Earlier in the year, we introduced fatigue management into our booking system. by creating fatigue policies that can be applied company-wide, for individual clients and individual projects, the system automatically factors in employees hours worked, so your employees are never overworked.
