Intertraffic Amsterdam, WOW!

Over the last few weeks we have been preparing for one of the biggest expos we have attended, and little did we know how epic it would be.

From 16 April to 20 April, we had Jeff Hills, Kat McDevitt and Michael Dunn head across to Amsterdam for the 2024 Intertraffic Expo.

Intertraffic is considered the pinnacle event for professionals worldwide in the realms of infrastructure, safety, parking, smart mobility, and traffic management. And Traffio took part with over 900 other exhibitors. The expo saw attendees from 140+ countries, and from an expo perspective, we understand why it is an unmissable biennial gathering for those in the industry. 

We announced previously that we were a finalist in the prestigious Intertraffic Awards for 2024 in the category of User Experience. These awards celebrate organisations that pioneer advancements in their fields, focusing on criteria such as originality, innovation, practicality, sustainability, design, and proven technology.

Although we didn't clinch the award, we are so proud to be recognised as a finalist in the User Experience Category was a testament to our dedication to creating seamless interfaces between technology and human operators. We extend our congratulations to Intelligent Instruments and their remarkable SoundVue product. Of course, if the right categories and opportunities arise in the future, Traffio will give the awards another shot.

When we kicked off the expo, we had one key goal in mind... To showcase our software to the Traffic Management industry to the world, and those who may be able to use it in other industries.

The expo proved to be not only a hive of activity but one full of insights, offering us invaluable opportunities to engage with the global market firsthand.

The atmosphere was buzzing with activity, and the warm welcome we received was unparalleled. During the bustling event, we had the pleasure of catching up with familiar faces at the TMAA networking drinks. Jeff, in particular, relished the chance to reunite with some of the Australian Traffic Management industry's most well-known faces. And we all know how much Jeff loves the people in the industry! It also provided Michael Traffio's first UK Customer Success Specialist an opportunity to meet those in the Australian industry and have further insight into how and where Traffio has grown from.

Upon immediate reflection, our time at Intertraffic Amsterdam was not just about showcasing our innovations, but also about fostering deep and meaningful connections, gaining deeper insights into the evolving landscape of traffic management across the globe and seeing just how broad things across Traffic Management can be.

As the team return back to the UK, and to Australia, there is more inspiration, motivation and, eagerness to continue our journey of innovation and collaboration in shaping a more streamlined and efficient software to help businesses become more efficient and transparent and have a single source of truth in business.

We are very happy at the success of Intertraffic Amsterdam and the bright future it heralds for the industry as a whole, and for how we will now further evolve.
