Simmo's Segment September 2024
This month Simmo was out and about with Association meetings, fundraisers and of course, footy events, as Victoria in particular celebrated the AFL.
Through September Simmo logged on for every TMAA Meeting, to make sure Traffio as a Gold National Sponsor had a presence. It is something both Traffio and Simmo are proud of, and we truly understand the value in the TMAA.
The TMAA Meetings included:
TMAA TAS
TMAA NT
TMAA SA
Simmo also attended the initial kick-off meeting for TMAA's new Safety Technology and Innovation Subcommittee - a fresh initiative of the Association. But this was not the only safety component of the month, Simmo also attended the Smart Road Safety Symposium (SRSS).
SRSS gave a 12-month review of Automated Cone Truck's (ATC) performance on the NELP South project, highlighting the improved safety and time saving capabilities of the ATC. The Symposium also featured the launch of ARROWES new advance warning feature, part of their eSeries, which gave further insight to the industry on what is coming up. We find it important to be across innovation developments and changes that affect the industry so that we can ensure Traffio adapts where needed.
There was also a meeting with SPA to discuss our new Procurement feature.
Invited by Brett Munro from FUSO and Ash Woodcock from RPM Hire, he attended the Blokes Biggest Lunch - Fundraiser for Prostate Cancer Research.
Simmo said "It is always great catching up with industry colleagues while at the same time raising much-needed funds for this critical research."
In true style, Simmo and Nick attended a Grand Final Lunch at Bells Hotel, with our friends at Access Group and Fast Track. Simmo and Nick made some great connections and were able to meet one of the game's greats too - Chris Judd!
