With a new update to skills in Traffio, users now have more control over setting compulsorily required skills at a Company, Depot, Client and Project level, where previously this function was only available on a project level.
This update means that skills created and linked to employees can now be further utilised while assigning employees to a booking. If a depot or client has a skill requirement, when scheduling workers, if the worker does not have the appropriate skill linked to them, it will come up with a warning notification. The hierarchy of what required skill will override another by accordance to company then depot, client and then project. These steps have been implemented to help eliminate underskilled employees being placed on jobs accidentally.
The different levels of required skills can be useful in areas such as mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations. First Covid-19 vaccinations will need to be a skill and linked to employees. Then if a certain Depot or Client you're doing a job for requires all of their employees on-site to be vaccinated. You will be able to filter out all people who are unvaccinated or don't have that skill linked to their profile. Ensuring that you're meeting your depots or clients policies.
