5 Ways Traffio helps keep your business compliant
Traffio understands the importance of developing and maintaining the highest level of safety and compliance on your job sites to not only keep your employees but the general public too. Reducing risk and creating a safe onsite environment allows your employees to focus on the job at hand and know they have all the tools on hand if they need them.
Traffio is helping keep your business compliant by:
1. Keeping track of your employee's skills and qualifications
Traffio allows you to keep track of your employee's skills and qualifications with ease. These skills are created in the system and then allocated to your employees. You're able to set a skill status ie booked in, awaiting documentation and awaiting upload. Store the skill reference and documentation as well as setting expiry and custom notification periods. This allows you to know ahead of time if a qualification is expiring so it can be updated ahead of its expiry.

2. Warnings for allocating unqualified employees to a booking
Skills and qualification requirements can be set at a company, depot, client and project level, this allows your schedulers to make sure that they're only allocating qualified employees to each job. Once these requirements are set for clients, projects or bookings, if you try and assign an unqualified person the system will give your scheduler a warning stating what qualification that employee is missing.

3. Linked Pre-start checklists for vehicles and equipment
Pre-start forms and checklists created in Traffio are able to be available and linked to specific resources. With the ability to make these forms mandatory, the Traffio mobile app will demand your employees to fill in these forms before submitting their dockets. If these aren't filled in, the employee must provide a reason for not filling out the form. Having these pre-start checklists linked to the bookings resources allows you to update the usage, odometer and condition of these resources from the forms submitted. This allows office staff to keep a record of the condition of the resource to make sure they're in working order ensuring any maintenance can be undertaken before it becomes dangerous and costly.

4. Mandatory digitally site and sign SWMS forms
Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) set out high-risk construction work activities to be carried out on the worksite, outline the hazards arising because of these activities and define measures to be put in place to control these risks. To ensure compliance to these SWMS, Traffio allows you to have these forms available and mandatory for your employees to view and sign off on the SMWS forms on every booking on the Traffio App.

5. Real-time submissions of constantly accessible near miss and incident report forms
Within Traffio you can create customisable near miss and incident report forms that are able to be available to be accessed at any time by your employees within the Traffio app. This enables your workers to be able to fill out these forms when the incident occurs rather than waiting till they're back at the depot, resulting in more accurate information and the ability to upload photographic evidence as well as location and time stamps. Real-Time notifications are able to be sent to management or employees with specific tags if certain form areas are filled in, allowing management to be informed straight away and take further action if needed.
